  1. I saw quite a few of these pieces at the museum exhibit Savage Beauty as well as video of the installation at the end of the show and it really is amazing the work he did here: Knowing the materials he used for the dresses, his thinking behind it, seeing how they impacted other people. I love the clash of masculinity and femininity in the overall collection and I'm still absolutely enamored by the red petri dish/feather dress worn by Erin O'Connor.

  3. Absolutly beautifull Jenny, thanks for sharing!
I love nature with fashion, the colour, the concept: dark and magical at the same time. My favourite 1 and 23.
    I love McQueen :(
News in my blog ( you can see again my winner pics) :)

  4. Insane is the right word here. It looks like he went to the other side and came back to tell his story. Something very weird and unsettling but still beautiful at the same time. Like rotting roses!

  6. These pictures are so overwhelming! It's so high fashion and each time I scrolled down to see the next set of images, my heart melted and my eyes wanted to jump out of their sockets! My favorite set is the first one. It's so unique and interesting, I could stare at it for hours. Thanks for sharing :)

  7. Imagine actually being there! I can almost imagine the extraterrestrial soundtrack. I'm not a big fan of the shape of Kate Moss's shoes, however.

  8. His artistic genius will be missed. I saw his exhibit a few weeks ago at the Met and they had a video of that women at the end. It was an amazing exhibit. To be so close to his work was amazing.

  9. I remember seeing aspects of this collection at Savage Beauty at the Met in New York. So glad I caught the exhibit during its short run. The red feathered dress is my favourite. The top of the dress is made with dyed medical slides.
